This song started as an inside joke with myself. I have always hated pop country. Years ago, I came up with the chorus "But there ain't enough stars in the sky for your wish to come true!" I wasn't serious. I thought I was purposely writing a bad lyric like all the pop country songs on the radio. Fifteen years pass, now I want to try to write a hit, so I went to the dumb line I had sitting around for years. I ended up writing a really good song. I get good feedback on it. It could be a hit. My voice has a hard time hitting that big chorus, but oh we'll. Originally, this song also had more lyrics, a longer bridge, and a longer guitar solo, but it was over five minutes long. I shortened it as much as I could, but it's still over four minutes. So much for the 3:30 rule.
